Here are some highlights from Branden and Denise’s engagement session in Boston from a few weeks ago. Boston is so enchanting in the spring with all the new life around. Everyone is excited to be outside and the mood is contagious. Even though their wedding is a year away I’m already excited to work with them again.
Mary and Glen got married in his parents back yard, and what a back yard/lake it was. Such a beautiful and meaningful setting for them to start their life together. Highlights from this wedding for me were, Mary’s dress (I just love lace), the sunset, and the band. They had a friends band for their reception and man-o-man did they get the crowd going! It was so much fun!
This wedding was last fall and everything about it was joyous. Karen is one of the most joy-filled people I’ve ever met and their ceremony was full of happy tears. They got a beautiful day with picturesque foliage, blue sky, and green grass. Fun fact from this wedding…first time I heard “Gangnam Style” as her two cousins rocked the dance floor (caught on camera thanks to the photographer…that would be me).

This was my first time on the Vineyard and now I know what all the fuss is about. It’s so enchanting and so the place to get married. There is just something so easy and effortless about this magical island which was a perfect fit for the style wedding Steph and Andy had in mind. 
Seeing the contrast in this post from the last post (Kate & Ryan’s winter wedding) makes me feel really lucky to live in New England. Not everyone loves all the seasons but I’ve been learning to appreciate the way the changes in seasons keep things interesting. You change what you wear, what you eat, the activities you do and of course the kind of pictures you can make. I like like changes. Anyway, back to Amanda and Alex. They got married last August (yes, I said August…I slacked a little last summer with my blog and am getting caught up. Hey, better late than never right?) The wedding was by the ocean in York, ME. Her dress was stunning, the trolly was charming, and the party was hardy! Seriously, her friends know how to get down! Loved it.
Most people prefer the warmer months to get married but not these two. They proved how elegant a winter wedding can be. With their winter blue color scheme that went from the bridesmaid dresses to the color of the champagne to the desserts, combined with, the backdrop of the mountains of North Conway made for a winter wonderland. Kate and Ryan it was a fabulous way to start off 2013!
Angela and Chris planned an amazing beach wedding last summer but boy was it hot! Literally, I think it must have been one of the hottest days of the summer reaching high into the 90′s. My hands were sweating so bad I thought my camera was going to slip out of my hand!! Everyone handle the heat like a champ and we got some great pictures.
